Patrick Lockyer President of the Board of Directors of Mill Springs Homeowners Association and Board wishes you well and good fortune.  The Directors are myself, Carl Valaer (Vice President), Barbara Lockyer (secretary), Suzanne Thompson (Treasurer), and Beth Jaben (Director), Mike Green (Director) Jill O'lone (Director). We are the Board for 2010. We are having very successful meetings and are very productive in respect of administrating our community. We are interested in developing a friendly, neighborly  community and would entertain any ideas as to how a better and closer arrangement might be achieved. Please feel welcome to our meetings whether you own or rent. Not having a owners vote is not an issue at any of our regular meetings. Please also get on our email list in order to 'know' what is going on. From a 'crime' point of view alone it is worth knowing what we all know. We continue to have very constructive meetings and we are very solvent as a group. We have no building and pools to upkeep. There has been very few Architectural requests during the winter. I expect a few more as the year progresses. We met on 17th Nov 2009 and all agreed to continue to administrate our fine community. We would welcome the attendance of anyone who would like to join us either on the board eventually or even just periodically.
Nov 17th Meeting:
There not being a quorum of homeowners we continue to be the ones interested in attending once a month to administrate the needs of the community. We will not meet in December but will meet again on the fourth Tuesday in January and every fourth Tuesday throughout the year at Watson at 7pm.

Mill Springs Neighborly Community. We have a great Website and we are always looking for new inclusions. Patrick Lockyer is the President of the Board and the Webmaster on 904 731 2082 or patricklockyer@aol.com. Residents of Mill Springs Community are cordially invited to join with us in making this a nicer place to live. Please contact us with any suggestions or creative ideas and even constructive criticisms.  We continue to meet at Watson Realtors, just next door with their good grace, on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm.

We are  proud to remind residents that we have a Mill Springs Jax Email Group set up and that anyone registering with this group will automatically be updated with all the meetings and events. To be included simply Email patricklockyer@aol.com and I will add you to the growing list.   Even if you really can't make the meetings every month you will still be informed of those matters decided which might affect you? You will always know what is planned in your name and in your community. Register right now with your Webmaster and you will start being informed immediately. Please check out the other four pages of this site to see what is happening and the Homeowners Rules as they change etc.Patrick Lockyer
One good reason for being  on the email group list is that you get to find out what is happening in our district. We have a serious wild hog problem and one of our residents has a trap out to catch them and the damage is colossal. Go to the link and see what is being said on local TV about it. Being on the email list informs you and you will not have your email address shared with anyone else or be bombarded with useless information that does not affect you. http://www.news4jax.com/video/21644547/index.html

We seem to be lucky regarding crime in our district but it is essential that any incident is reported and reported correctly. We are surrounded by locations that are constantly in the crime news but being fully enclosed does help us I am sure. Even so, be on your guard for any strange behavior such as cruising vehicles or people walking aimlessly or coming out of the woods. Have a great holiday season and stay safe on our few roads. Remember that although the speed limit is 30mph, that 30 is too fast when you are negotiating a bend with a vehicle parked on it or if someone is emerging from their driveway or if people are walking in the road as they are constantly obliged to when the pathways are blocked with parked vehicles. 30 is only possible on the few straight and clear and brightly lit places on our development. Stay safe and keep your neighbors safe at the same time. Patrick Lockyer.
